We have a few new things added to our web site. I just finished teaching an 11 message series on healing.
It was awesome! During the teaching I had a microphone open for people to ask questions and make comments. That small addition adds such richness to the teaching, you are sure to receive some great insight into healing as you listen. You can listen to each individual lesson here on the web site or if you click on the link at the bottom of this section. Also, the entire series is available on CD.
Thank you for stopping by our ministry web site. It is my belief that the Word of God will change your life and your circumstances. In the Gospel of Mark, Chapter 4, the bible compares the Word of God to a seed, and it compares our hearts to the ground, or soil. If we think about how a seed works in the natural we can understand how the Word of God works in the spiritual realm when planted in our hearts. We know that when we plant a seed in the ground it takes a period of time for it to grow and produce fruit, and depending on the seed or type of plant, it may even take years for that seed to grow enough to produce a harvest. God-inspired words are the seeds that penetrate the soil of our hearts. If we allow that seed to grow it will produce a harvest in our lives. Here is how God feels about it from the book of Isaiah 55:11,
…so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
A second scripture in Jeremiah states, God is watching over His word to perform it.To me this is encouraging! I know that no matter what I face there is an answer in the Word of God for me, and if I plant His Word in my heart I will see victory.
Here is another comparison in the bible concerning seeds in the area of giving. Take a look in 2 Corinthians 9:5-7,
So I thought it necessary to urge the brothers to go on ahead to you and arrange in advance for the gift you have promised, so that it may be ready as a willing gift, not as an exaction. The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has made up his mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
It is interesting how giving is compared with planting a seed. When you plant a seed in the ground wouldn’t you expect a harvest from that seed? I do, I like gardening, and when I plant seeds I expect to receive a harvest from those seeds that I plant. God wants us to expect a harvest from the seeds we plant into His work. Look what He says through the Apostle Paul just a few verses down from our last passages in 2 Corinthians 9:10-11,
...and may He who is supplying seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness, in every thing being enriched to all liberality, which doth work through us thanksgiving to God,…
Now that is exciting! God promises you that He will multiply what you give. The way we access anything from God is by doing what the Word of God says. Believing what it says will happen to you - that is called faith. In it's simplest form faith is finding a promise in the Word of God; believing it; and then acting on it. Remember like a seed, it may take time to produce, but God promises us that it will.
We provide hours of free material on our web site and it is because of people like you that we are able to do this. Your giving is so important to us, it helps us get the seed of God’s Word out to people so it can change their lives. If you have been blessed by this ministry please consider partnering with us in getting the message of grace out to people. You can click on the link below to give. As you give let’s believe God for multiplication of the seeds you are sowing into this ministry, and together we can expect an abundant harvest on your behalf.
