We have a few new things added to our web site. I just finished teaching an 11 message series on healing.
It was awesome! During the teaching I had a microphone open for people to ask questions and make comments. That small addition adds such richness to the teaching, you are sure to receive some great insight into healing as you listen. We are living in some of the greatest times the people of God have ever seen. You may say to yourself “are you kidding me, have you seen how evil the world is”. That may be true the world is getting darker, but it gives those who have committed their lives to Jesus an opportunity to shine all the brighter. I have heard testimony after testimony of how God is moving in signs, wonders and power all over the world, not just in foreign lands but also right here at home in the U.S. God is up to something. I can just sense it. I’ve seen it in our meetings, and can tell it when talking to those who know God and those who don’t. If you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, you have all the power you will ever need to overcome any obstacle that may be thrown in your path. And even more than that, the bible says, you have been set apart for such a time as this. Don’t get focused on how bad the world is - focus on how big our God is. Do you know who you are? Do you know the power that resides in you? There is no reason we as Christians should walk around with our heads hanging low and in fear about what is happening in the world today. Look at what the word of God says about who is inside of you and who you are because of it:
1 John 4:4
You are of God, little children, and you have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
Come on, now that should make you want to shout!!
Ok now here is another one:
1 John 4:17
In this is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day ofjudgment, that as He is, so also we are in this world.
How good is that, you are just like Jesus! Not like Jesus was when He was on this earth but as He is right now!! “as He is so also are we in this world”
So how does that make you feel? Powerful right? Of course it does, because you are powerful, and you need to continually remind yourself how powerful you are and Who is residing on the inside of you.
Take a look at this scripture in the gospel of Mark:
Mark 9:23
Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things are possible
to him who believes.
All things are possible for you- all things are possible-all things. Did you see what that says all things are possible for you, if you can only believe.
Listen to me, you have no business listening to what the world says about who you are. The bible is clear about the power and authority you have. It is clear about who you are in Jesus and the Love that the God of the universe has for you. You are powerful and the only way to understand that is by looking at what the bible says about who you are. Next time you are faced with a seemingly impossible situation don’t consult the world to find the answer consult God’s word it has all the answers you will ever need.
